3,000 Views Edition: Author Appreciation

The idea of interviewing authors and writers came to mind in mid-May. I found out that most of these individuals are not just authors, but are very well-rounded in many areas. My first interview was with Shawn James. He's not only an author/writer, but is also a publisher (SJS Direct). He is a blogger, and a YouTube social critic, where he has over 3,000 subscribers.

Next was Tina Butler, who discussed her first novel, Out of the Frying Pan, Straight into the Fire, and is currently working on a second one entitled Phat Inheritance. Hours later, I talked to poet, blogger, and aspiring author Kalah McLaughlin, who is working on a project (tentatively) called The Stories of Sara Silverman.

Last month was a turning point for EA: Creatively Creative blog, as the views sky rocketed. Starting with author, blogger and Navy veteran DeLisa Brown whose interview became my first to have 100 and 200 hits. My interview with best-selling author, publicist, and talk show host, Elvira Guzman was my second blog with 100 views, third with 200.

My interview with Lisa Bailey Bastian became my third with 100 views, second to 200, first with over 300, 400, and 500 views! Next was author and poet Jacqueline Rainey, which was my fourth blog to reach 100 views. Next, I interviewed the creator of Broken Revelation universe Albert Scott. Then I talked to upcoming author Patrick Johns, whose novel Junkland is set to release in August.

My interview with Patrick became my fifth to reach 100 views, fourth with 200, second with 300, 400, and 500, first with over 600 and 700 views, and is currently my most viewed blog. Next was an in-depth interview with Parker Nash, who talked about her first novel, Certified Pre-Owned, and is working on it's sequel.

Following up was an interview with Nita Anderson, who spoke about the first novel of her Stripper Diaries series, and is working on a sequel, as well as a short story. So far, these interviews have accumulated 2,343 of my currently 3,040 total views! This post is a special thanks to Shawn James, Tina Butler, Kalah McLaughlin, DeLisa Brown, Elvira Guzman, Lisa Bailey Bastian, Jacqueline Rainey, Albert Scott, Patrick Johns, Parker Nash, and Nita Anderson.

I wanted to take the time to acknowledge these authors who have contributed to EA: Creatively Creative. Stay tuned because there's more to come.
